Sterling Innovations Group Launches
Its Subscription-based Team Member's Intranet

While there may be other Web-based opportunities to become Six Sigma certified, Sterling Innovations Group (SIG) offers a complete Green Belt, online course with certification, including real, human interaction with Sterling mentoring staff, hard-copy textbooks, real-life case studies, and valuable tools to aid in assuring the success of their Team Member's Six Sigma Projects.

For a fee of $3700, Level One Team Members receive four valuable textbooks, including The Six Sigma Way Team Fieldbook, The Six Sigma Memory Jogger, Guiding Successful Six Sigma Projects, and The LEAN Manufacturing Pocket Handbook. The SIG Online Knowledge Transfer Opportunity provides an overview of each phase in the Six Sigma process, references appropriate readings in the reference texts, and presents a series of sample forms and charts, case studies and templates. Finally, Team Members have access to a comprehensive online test, and upon successful completion, receive Green Belt certification. Significant discounts are available to undergraduate students with proof of matriculation to an accredited educational institution. Contact Sterling for more information.

For $5000, Level Two Team Members receive all the resources and benefits listed above, in addition to access to SIG's proprietary Project Tracking System, which will allow the Team Member to lead their own Six Sigma team through the Define, Measure and Analyze phases. The Project Tracking System allows the Team Member to communicate with up to 10 team members, track project tasks and progress, and share documentation.

In conjunction with ProjecTrak, the Team Member will have email and telephone access to SIG's Virtual Mentors and Resultants. This valuable resource typically provides a return on investment (ROI) of $150,000 to $250,000 (figures based on industry standards), and provides the Team Member with almost 100 years of collective experience in Six Sigma project management.

For an additional $5000, Level Three Team Members can continue to receive the same resources and benefits through the Improve and Control phases of the Six Sigma process. These two critical stages are when communication with SIG is most beneficial.

Finally, SIG also offers their proprietary Transition phase support, which includes an onsite evaluation and consultation. The price for this service is negotiable, and SIG Resultants will consult with the Team Member to determine the fee.

SIG is already planning their next online Knowledge Transfer Opportunity, which will provide subscribers with more excellent resources for improving business and manufacturing process and innovation. Even if you're not ready to become a Team Member, be sure to become a Registered Member, which will give you access to our Quick Thought communication system and a subscription to The Silver Standard, Sterling's e-newsletter.

The SIG online Knowledge Transfer Opportunity is a combination of proven mentoring skills, manufacturing experience and process control techniques coupled with the six-sigma methodology to provide Team Members with the resources they need to guide teams through the complex steps required to complete a successful Six Sigma project.
