As a result of an assessment conducted for Corning,
Inc by Sterling Innovations Group in May,2003, a
mentoring project was proposed by SIG and accepted
by Corning,Inc. The proposal covered the mentoring
of five teams through the Six-Sigma/SIG process
improvement methodology.

SIG to prepare another proposal to provide mentoring
support for new and active DMAIC/DFSSS
(design) improvement projects for year 2004.
