Its
all about the data
Sterling Innovations Group (SIG) is a consortium of uniquely
qualified individuals available to assist clients in identifying
solutions to process challenges. SIG's unique performance
improvement process is tied directly to return on investment
(ROI). The SIG process guarantees ROI by forming a partnership
with the client's team that holds both parties accountable
for performance milestones negotiated before the process begins.
By mentoring teams through all the phases of a successful
project, clients avoid pitfalls that can stall the most talented
of teams. SIG process techniques are widely applicable in
most manufacturing engineering, research and development companies.
A
few typical applications:
• Process Systems for Order to Cash
• Manufacturing Process
• Systems for Inventory Control
• Exploring and Analyzing Large Groups of
Data
• Supply chain process improvement

How
it works:
Sterling Innovations Group assembles an “in
house” team (In-Team) to support our client’s
teams. The SIG In-Team consists on average of three members
and has the ability to expand as needed. The lead person
from SIG is responsible for the overall success of the mentoring
process. The lead person is given the title of mentor and
resultant, he/she is expected to guide the client team through
troubled spots to realize real results that are tied to a
financial return on investment. (ROI) The second In-Team
member is a backup mentor/resultant available in case of
any scheduling conflicts or when the unexpected occurs.
Clients’ teams are always covered in
person or when necessary by tele-conference. From this point
on any number of specialists may be involved to do the required
statistical work or gather critical data required to support
decisions and improvements.
During the early stages when a team forms
and bonds, everyone from the SIG In-Team is involved to become
familiar with all the client’s team members. This is
done to avoid any loss of time that usually occurs when a
new face (back-up mentor) steps in the middle of a project.
SIG is most comfortable when results are
tied to financial gains and will always mentor teams to project
an (ROI) range (min-max) dollars that is agreeable, realistic
and obtainable.
